Brian Knight is the owner and founder of Pragmatic Works and is a serial entrepreneur, starting other companies throughout his prolific career. He is the author of more than fifteen technical books and has spoken at dozens of conferences like PASS, SQL Connections, and TechEd. He has received a number of awards from the state, governor, and press including the Business Ambassador Award (Governor) and Top CEO (Jacksonville Magazine). He is on the board of the region’s Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Corporation.

Overview:

Whether you’re building a budget request, a travel request, or a literature request the concepts are all very similar in Power Apps. In this event, we’ll be building an application together using Dataverse and Power Apps. We’ll start by designing our tables to store the data for our requests. Then, we’ll create a model-driven app to administer the requests coming in and finally a canvas app for the requests to come in.

This event is an interactive event where you’re welcome to optionally build with Brian. To play along, you’re going to want to have a developer environment to learn in. To create that environment, go to https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/developerplan/ and click Existing User. If you don’t have that setup ahead of time, no worries! Learn the old fashion way with us in the live event and get your questions answered. Then after the event, utilize your new skills.
